Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

 

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

 

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

 

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

·       Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the feasibility and viability of new business ventures.

·       Update, review and maintain existing financial models based on updated and projected information to aid decision making/planning by senior management.

·       Ensure accuracy of new financial models while enhancing the quality of existing models.

·       Analyse and identify additional data required to support model tracking.

·       Work with various departments on information required and drive consensus to achieve target returns.

·       Provide ad-hoc scenario analysis on operational matters.

·       Create business dashboards and provide detailed analysis to aid business decision making.

·       Track effectiveness of business initiatives.

·       Assist in annual budgeting process by collating inputs from different teams for consolidation and review.

·       Drive, participate in, or support projects as may be required.

·       Other relevant duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements

·       Degree in Finance, Business or Investment-related disciplines; additional quantitative and analytical qualifications are a strong plus.

·       At least 2 years of relevant experience, especially in financial modelling. Familiarity with statistical modelling is a plus.

·       Good analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.

·       Ability to multi-task and work independently in a highly matrixed environment while meeting deadlines.

·       Detail-oriented with strong communications, interpersonal and organisational skills.

·       Highly meticulous and self-driven.

·       Excellent in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
