Mandai Park Holdings (MPH) is driving the rejuvenation of Mandai Precinct into an integrated nature and wildlife destination, through its development arm, Mandai Park Development (MPD). As champions for Wildlife, we lead actions to protect them, inspire a love for wildlife and spark a sense of wonder in everyone, regardless of our roles.

We are building a kids community and loyalty program to bring wildlife closer to every child through an exclusive suite of offerings. Designed for the young family in mind, My Animal Buddy programme endeavours to get children to bond with our animals from the Singapore Zoo and inspire their appreciation for wildlife and nature through getting to know their animal buddy and its friends via fun learning experiences while gaining essential skills. Ultimately, we aim to nurture them as responsible global citizens and wildlife champions of the future.

We are setting up a Minimum Viable Team as an “internal start up” to drive this initiative, ring-fenced from business-as-usual core operations, to focus on building and delivering upon this ambition.

Passionately chart new frontiers to bring Mandai & Wildlife closer to the hearts of every Singaporean child and to the world.

The team that will shape the overall product vision and roadmap to take Mandai Kids Club (MKC) from a start up to a commercially viable offering.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President (Emerging Products), this role will undertake the following responsibilities:

·         Agile development of Minimum Viable Products through design thinking, for our key target segments not limited to public and private educational institutions locally and in the region.

·         Develop product roadmaps – Continuously enhance offerings (build-test-measure-iterate) and project manage to ensure that all development milestone KPIs are met.

·         Drive business model innovation and development, develop business cases, and build out the roadmap for commercialisation to ensure all growth milestone KPIs are met.

·         Deliver upon the organisation’s Performance, People and Planet goals.

 

Requirements:

·         At least 5 to 8 years of working experience in product development. You have the experience in developing product roadmap and aligning it to company’s business strategy; performing customer research and competitive analysis; planning of new product features and enhancements to continuously improve user’s experience and product offering. Experience working in the early childhood education sector is a plus.

·         Degree in Business Administration, Education, Arts, Computer Science or a work experience of the equivalent.

·         Have a proven track record in product development, resulting in business success. You have successfully worked with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders to coordinate, conceptualise, plan, execute, and track product releases all through its lifecycle.

·         Creative and innovative to ideate and develop new and competitive products that will be compelling to the target market. You should have an appreciation of what the education industry may look like in the future. 

·         Have excellent communication skills to facilitate smooth conveyance of information across cross-functional teams. You are confident in presenting new ideas to the senior management.

·         Possess excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You are a team player and able to work independently. You are detail oriented, decisive, and exhibit comfort in a fast-paced work environment. You are also an initiative taker.
