Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties and Responsibility:
We are developing cutting-edge digital solutions that satisfy consumer demands and connect with our audience. We are now looking for a Senior Systems Analyst with at least 5 years of software development expertise, or as a Techno-Functional Business Analyst for e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software development methods and will oversee designing, developing, and implementing software solutions to fulfil our business needs. This role is critical in providing the foundation for our custom-built apps, assuring scalability, performance, and security. You will play a key role in deploying, managing, and optimizing the use of online applications for guests and employees.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain eCommerce applications and websites using technologies such as .NET Framework 4.5 (and above), .NET Core, C#, JavaScript, HTML, MS SQL Server 2014 (and above), and PostgreSQL is a plus.
- Develop Restful APIs to support Front-of-House systems.
- Provide day-to-day support, configuration, administration, problem resolution, and performance tuning of Front-of-House systems, such as eCommerce systems.
- Ensure systems adhere to security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the relevance of systems, processes, and documentation by maintaining them regularly.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of solutions. Monitor progress and address any issues or risks that may arise during the implementation phase.
- Collaborate with vendors, manage deliverables, and oversee performance.
- Establish strong relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication, and adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
- Strong desire to learn new things.
- Perform any other IT-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Techno-Functional Business Analyst or in software development.
- Experience in conducting requirements gathering, writing detailed business and technical requirements, functional specifications, and training end users.
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience and proficiency in the following technologies (in order of sequence) will be highly valued: ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, .NET Framework 4.5 (and above), .NET Core 3.1 (and above), C#, JavaScript, Node.js, React Native, Ruby scripts and Ruby on Rails framework is a plus
- MS Dynamics CRM is a plus
- API Services design, development of WCF services, REST API, JSON, API documentation like Swagger is a bonus.
- Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (and above) and PostgreSQL (TSQL, DML, DDL, stored procedures, and DB jobs).
- Experience and knowledge in CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience and knowledge in Source code control systems such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
