Wildlife Reserves Singapore (WRS) is the holding company of the award-winning attractions Jurong Bird Park, Night Safari, River Safari and Singapore Zoo. WRS is dedicated to the management of world-class leisure attractions that foster conservation and research while educating visitors about animals and their habitats.

Come 2024, we will add a new Bird Park, a Rainforest Park, nature themed indoor attraction and Eco-resort as part of our Mandai rejuvenation plan. We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter with a can-do attitude; an individual who enjoys networking, establishing relationships, being innovative and delivering results. The individual will be tasked with developing and diversifying the business for now and the future, with best strategic and financial outcomes for the organisation.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

·       Develop business growth strategies and plans

·       Manage, retain and increase client base

·       Accumulate in-depth knowledge of business trends, products and value proposition

·       Negotiate with stakeholders, business partners and clients

·       Identify and map business strengths and customer needs

·       Research business opportunities and viable income streams

·       Draft and review contracts, write business proposals

·       Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management

·       Identify and source for partnership opportunities and outreach through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and client visits

·       Collaborate with management and internal stakeholders to align internal goals with new and existing partner relationships

·       Negotiate and finalise deals in accordance with Company’s contract guidelines and policies

·       Deliver a great experience to our partners when working with our organisation – represent our brand and act as our partners’ internal liaison

·       Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships

·       Maintain excellent ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnerships

·       Any other duties as assigned.



·       Degree with minimally 5 years of relevant work experience in business development, sales and/or partnerships

·       Possess a strong network of business contacts over the course of career

·       Sales-driven and result-oriented

·       Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of personal energy

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Critical thinker with a strategic mind and problem-solving skills, including risk/roadblock identification

·       Pro-active team player with a positive attitude and determination to succeed
