Mandai Park Holdings (MPH) owns the world-renowned Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Safari and Jurong Bird Park, and is in the process of rejuvenating the surrounding area in Mandai into an integrated wildlife and nature destination.

There will be a newly-established subsidiary of Mandai Park Holdings (MPH) set up to explore and incubate new lines of business in adjacent industries. This may include pursuing opportunities that span Edutainment, Loyalty, Special Events, Consulting, and Nature-based travel and leisure.

We are looking for a dynamic and energetic leader to play a central role in developing these new business areas.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent shall be responsible for the day-to-day management of the incubation areas, and will be responsible for ensuring robust business models, defining and building the Minimum Viable Products, and implementing pilots with the ability to scale.

The incumbent will be the direct supervisor to a team of domain specialists in the incubation areas, and will be supported by strong functional experts in marketing and business development.

This is a senior leadership position of high complexity, that will require a combination of strategy, strong business acumen, and general numeracy. Stakeholder management skills are important, as is a high degree of executive maturity, since this role will be involved in partnership (and potential JV) discussions, and will have exposure to our shareholders and to the board.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set goals and deliverables
• Manage, update and evolve our strategy for new business areas
• Plan, execute and measure pilots and proof of concepts
• Develop framework and leverage on data analysis tools to measure performance and make evidence-based decisions
• Contribute to overall revenue and visitorship growth
• Contribute towards KPI development
• Track and report on KPIs on a regular basis


• Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline; MBA desired
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, with proven ability to drive team engagement and corporate achievements
• Creative, dynamic and entrepreneurial self-starter with high energy
• Strong track record of leadership and achievement
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Thought leader with advanced strategy development and implementation skills, adaptable and comfortable operating in ambiguous, complex, and evolving situations
• Strong commercial acumen, with good problem-solving ability and a highly collaborative working style
• Proactiveness in driving results, with strong ownership over outcomes, and proven ability to work under pressure whilst delivering superior outcomes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage high level stakeholders effectively and build synergies within and across teams
