Main Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assess the technology merits of all tender submissions, to align with the core architectural principles of “Longevity”, “Scalability” and “Resiliency”
· Burn-down the prioritized backlog to deliver timely and high-quality outcomes that meet the business needs
· Work with the Dev-Ops to setup the CI/CD framework. Automate progressive/regressive testing
· Governs the source code controls with detailed documentation. Adopt best practices for secured software development, and release management for in-house and vendor developed systems
· Work with IT architects and appointed vendors on IT projects in providing subject matter expertise and technical direction on integration with existing systems
· Undertake the tasks for systems that is transiting from development to daily operational.
· Plan the phased launch approach for the new platform. Migrate of the legacy commerce stack to the new platform. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform with minimal operational disruptions (i.e. Training, support SOP)
· Setup the SOP for sandbox development
· Responsible for all hardware/software relating to the platform
· Address roadblocks, and escalate matters where relevant
· Facilitate the conduct of agile rituals
· Manage the agile burn-down charts to ensure productive yet sustainable output form all members in the agile squad
· Care for the needs of all members in the agile squad
Requirements:
· 10 years of experience in the solution architecture of an enterprise-grade eCommerce platform (from front-end to back-end)
· Proficient in software development using Microsoft technologies and scripting languages (.NET Framework, C#, MVC, ASP.NET).
· Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML.
· Experience working with one or more of the following technologies would be highly desirable – Ecommerce, Online Payment Gateway, Mobile App, API Management & Gateway.
· Agile experience highly preferred
· Strong project management skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
· Self-starter with tenacity and drive to lead and execute upon multi-year projects.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally.
· Excellent presentation and written communication skills
