To conduct education programmes in Mandarin (such as overnight camps, day camps, and guided tours) for local and overseas students/family groups.

Successful candidates will be required to commit for the following camp dates, as well as some weekdays in January and February 2019. 


Overnight camp dates are as follows:

·         25 – 26 January 2019 (Fri – Sat)

·         30 – 31 January 2019 (Wed – Thurs)

·         8 – 9 February 2019 (Fri – Sat)

·         12 – 13 February 2019 (Tues – Wed)



·         Highly proficient in spoken Mandarin

·         Interest in nature, wildlife, and public education

·         Possess a warm, lively and friendly personality as well as a positive learning attitude

·         Willingness in handling insects (eg. hissing cockroach) for guests’ animal contact sessions

·         Prior experience in guiding small groups will be an advantage

·         Enjoy working outdoors and passionate about overnight camps

·         Enjoy working with people of all ages, especially children

·         Able to work on both weekdays and weekends

Shortlisted candidates must participate in the following compulsory training and assessment sessions to be recruited:

Training & Assessment

1-day training: 9 Jan 2019 (Wednesday) 9am to 5pm

Candidates will undergo a 1-day intensive training programme to build up animal and park knowledge for Singapore Zoo and River Safari.


On-job-training (Jan, selected dates)

There will be at least 2 practical assessments on the job. Only candidates who pass the on-job-trainings will be offered this part-time position.


Please note that all trainings are unpaid.
