Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for achieving event sales objectives and revenue goals for F&B and venue sales
  • Actively up-sell business opportunities to maximise revenue with other corporate products
  • Hunt and farm social and corporate events
  • Canvass for sales through existing leads and regular follow ups
  • Create new business opportunities by developing the brand, through establishing new and enhance existing relationship between companies, business associates and government agencies
  • Responsible for all details relating to the full life cycle of event management
  • Meet sales targets set
  • Contribute to the growth and improvement of the Sales function with proactive suggestions and recommendations
  • Prepare service quotation for clients
  • Assist and support ad-hoc special projects

Job Requirements:

·         Diploma in Hospitality, Catering Management/ Business Administration or Management/ Sales & Marketing or the equivalent

·         Minimally 4 to 6 years’ experience in events / catering / corporate sales, preference will be given to candidate with valuable catering sales experience in tourism or hospitality services

·         Good verbal and written communication skills in English

·         Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office

·         Independent and yet a team worker

·         Quick thinker, learner and multi-tasker

·         Aggressive and possess knowledge on relationship selling

·         Passionate about selling and enjoys the challenge of closing sales without compromising on service quality
