·         Plan and ensure the assigned facilities development projects are completed on time and met the requirements, guidelines and regulations

·         Work closely with various stakeholders to support the facilities re-development, alteration and addition as well as renovation and rectifications work.

·         Manage project relating to infrastructure

·         Handle the upgrading of infrastructure from design & planning to implementation completion

·         Review and set design standard for improvement of overall ambience and quality of the built environment

·         Develop and manage facilities space utilisation and database.

·         Budgetary planning and control.

·         Liaise with the local authorities on infrastructure and facilities related matters.

·         Work with key stakeholders and obtain their requirements and needs for incorporation into project brief

·         Manage external/outsourced resources (consultants and site supervisory staff) to execute the projects

·         Ensure that contractors carry out works in a safe manner with the necessary risk assessments and workplace safety measures in place to manage project risks

·         Carry out regular checks on the construction details and quality of finishing during the construction period and works with internal stakeholders on the building defect lists prior to handover

·         Assist to develop and thereafter execute cost control measures to optimize maintenance costs

 

Job Requirement:

 

·         Recognised Degree in Engineering, Building, Estates or Architecture

·         Minimally 8 years of relevant experience in Project / Facilities Development

·         Possess good understanding of facilities management and operation.

·         Excellent working knowledge on buildings’ rules & regulations and authorities’ requirements

·         Driven, resourceful with good project management and presentation skills

·         Team player and able to work independent with minimal supervision  

·         Excellent analytical, communication, writing and interpersonal skills

·         Proficiency in MS Office applications, relevant Singapore Standards, Codes of Practices, and regulatory guidelines;

·         Professional qualifications such as License Electrical Worker (LEW Grade 7 and above); Fire Safety Manager (FSM); Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) and Water Efficiency Manager (WEM) will be added advantage.
