Job Duties and Responsibilities:   

  • Lead and coordinate the planning, design, implementation and tracking of sustainable solutions for the development and operations of the Mandai Precinct, in line with Mandai’s Environmental Sustainability Strategy;
  • Develop, plan and implement Mandai’s Energy Strategy and Roadmap, towards long term energy independence, including minimising energy consumption and maximizing renewable energy sources;
  • Lead and manage consultants and partners to design and deliver sustainable solutions, in line with Mandai’s sustainability strategy;
  • Collaborate with all other work streams to obtain support and to ensure successful design and implementation of sustainability initiatives and related infrastructure;
  • Engage agencies and stakeholders to obtain support for proposed sustainable solutions;
  • Lead pilot projects to testbed sustainability initiatives to determine viability for implementation in the future development;
  • Support work planning and budgeting for the Sustainable Solutions team.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related fields, advanced degrees preferred;
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in related field
  • Experience with Singapore Green Mark and other sustainability certifications preferred
  • Corporate sustainability experience at organsation level
  • Solid appreciation of sustainability principles, planning, systems design and implementation preferred;
  • Ability to lead and coordinate across internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies;
  • High degree of initiative, detail-oriented, creative, innovative, with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
