Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Conduct education programmes for students and public visitors
• Programmes include:
- overnight camps (2D1N and 3D2N)
- day camps (1D)
- guided tours (3 hours)
- trails (3 hours)
- campaigns and events (1D)
- sentry duties (1N)

Job Requirements :
• Well-spoken in English
• Strong interest in conservation, nature, wildlife and public education
• Strong passion in working with people of all ages, especially children
• Enjoy working outdoors
• Assist in booth management during campaign months and events
• Willing to learn and be comfortable with handling animals such as stick insects and hissing cockroaches during education programmes
• Great presentation and group management skills
• Possess positive learning attitude, a sense of initiative and adventure
• Able to work on weekdays and weekends
• Able to commit for a minimum of 12 jobs in a year and opportunity to be rostered for 24 jobs a year or more


Training :
• Training is conducted in three phases:
1. 2D1N Facilitators’ Training Camp (25 – 26 May 2019)
2. Facilitators’ Assessment (1 June 2019)
3. On-Job Training and On-Job Assessment (To be rostered)
• Candidates will go through a series of training sessions in our parks. Training to be completed within 3 months.
• Full attendance is required for all dates
• Training fees: $90 (includes course materials and meals for the entire duration of the camp)
