We are seeking a creative and highly driven individual to join our Marketing team. Reporting to Director of Marketing, the incumbent will lead the Events and Programming (E&P) team to drive events strategies that positively impact visitors’ experiences and increase attendance to achieve company’s goals and targets.

He/she is required to provide brand guardianship and ensure all parks events are in alignment with Company’s vision with the ability to bring the company’s key messages alive. Leading the team in conceptualizing, planning and executing events as well as building strong partnership with internal/external stakeholders/vendors would be an essential scope of this role. He/she will also be responsible for business development and driving partnerships.  

The incumbent will also be responsible for managing budget and monitoring events’ profit & loss while achieving business objectives. 

Over and above the management of the E&P team, the incumbent will also be the key person responsible for the end to end management of the entire Rainforest Lumina Project by collaborating closely with the respective workstreams and stakeholders. He/she will coordinate the design, planning, and launch phases as well as ensuring smooth daily operations of the project after each launch. Other aspects of the role involved include but not limited to:

• Budget and timeline management
• Co-create innovative experiences and share learnings to relevant teams
• Coordinate across relevant teams in preparation for each season opening and plan for soft programming during peak seasons
• Support sponsorships team in developing content integration opportunities
• Create and maintain monthly reporting dashboard and round robin to ensure all workstreams are kept updated
• Provide quarterly updates to Singapore Tourism Board (STB) with regards to content, performance and grant claims
• Coordinate with research firm to analyze guest feedback and surveys
• Host special guest, sponsors and partners for behind the scene tours

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
• At least 12 years of relevant experience in experiential marketing, events management or related disciplines
• Proven ability in brand building, consumer marketing, project planning management and budget management
• Prior experience in outdoor event management will be an added advantage
• Outstanding project management ability, capable of handling multiple time-sensitive cross-functional projects
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management with excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to effectively manage relationship and ensure deliverables from key vendors/ agencies.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
