Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

 

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

 

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

 

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

·     Assist in the day-to-day operation of the park, and provide administrative support to the department.

·     Manage guest interactions, which include greeting, answering queries and assisting in situations that may require problem solving and providing information about the park.

·     Assist in wildlife management efforts:

o   Update and maintain records of sightings and movements of wildlife.

o   Conduct and maintain behavioral enrichments of wildlife through positive reinforcement trainings.

o   Educate guests on wildlife campaigns in the parks.

·     Act as a Safe Distancing Ambassador:

o   Ensure that guests adhere to the government’s latest guidelines.

o   Manage capacity and queues at designated areas / exhibits.

o   Check SafeEntry registration for all guests at designated touchpoints.

·     Other relevant duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

·     Minimum GCE 'O' Level and above.

·     Candidates with customer service experience will have an advantage.

·     Pleasant, confident, energetic and outgoing personality.

·     Independent and responsible team player.

·     Strong interest in wildlife, nature and working outdoors.

·     Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
