Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
· Develop and implement strategic plans to promote wildlife conservation education, sustainability & climate actions, in support of Mandai Wildlife Group (MWG)’s vision and mission.
· Develop and implement strategic plans to strengthen Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s position as a Living Classroom for different school segments by curating and operationalising meaningful learning journeys that align to widely adopted frameworks for schools.
· Develop and implement strategic plans for conservation communication and advocacy, and evaluation approaches for measurement of success.
· Nurture strategic partnership with Ministry of Education, Early Childhood Development Agency, Institutes of Higher Learning, and related/similar organisations, and other partners for funding, content co-creation and to champion conservation and sustainability advocacy.
Job Requirements :
· A degree in Zoology, Science Communication or related disciplines
· At least 8 years of working experience, preferably in education or wildlife-related field
· Strong network within the education and zoo fraternity
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Knowledge in pedagogy preferred
· Keen interest in wildlife and conservation
· Good interpersonal skill
