Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Monthly analysis of various lines of businesses
· Perform monthly variance analysis on P&L
· Partner business teams in analyzing business performance and drivers.
· Provide in-depth analysis of the monthly parks’ attendance, tourist arrivals, country of residence, etc
· Track effectiveness of various new initiatives e.g. park promotions, events, etc
Development of business reports
· Create weekly, monthly & quarterly business dashboards and provide detailed analysis to help improve businesses
· Develop various ad hoc reports as required by business units
· To explore and implement BI tool for data analytics
Others
· To assist with project management, investment analysis, budgeting exercise etc e.g. flexible pricing initiative, etc
· To perform desktop research on various new business initiatives from the tourism industry and other zoos
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in any field
· Basic understanding of accounting, finance, information technology and business concepts
· Good communication skills - verbal and written and interpersonal savvy when interacting with department leaders
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Demonstrate strong analytical skills, especially in excel, managing data sets and modelling various scenarios
· Problem solving and strong communication skills
· Prior SAP experience is preferred |
