Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.


Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.


The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.


Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.


Main duties and responsibilities:

·         Work closely with merchandising to develop Open to Buy , merchandise assortment plan for the both existing and new retail outlets, setting category , pricing strategy to achieve KPIs

·         Review stock attribute maintenance & planning tools to drive better data organization for improved reporting and tracking of inventory.

·         Refine planning tools for better analysis and data capture e.g., inventory forecasting and tracking to ensure sufficient stock, margin tracking, pricing review etc.

·         Drive warehouse planning and business case to obtain sufficient storage space / procurement of warehouse management system

·         Drive promotions to achieve sales and inventory clearance targets (e.g. special mechanics, staff sales) and develop tracking tools to monitor progress

·         Recommend and monitor inventory buy to ensure in-stock, turnover, margin and sales goals were achieved, for parks and consignment merchandise, based on current trend and historical datMonitor store capacity and analyze historical data and current trends to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for profitable growth.

·         Work with Ops/Area Manager to orchestra merchandise or store floor plan changes to maximise conversion across park attendance

·         Organise merchandise led events like staff sales to reduce aged inventory and out of park pop up store events to drive merchandise awareness

·         Any other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

·         Bachelor in business, planning or statistics

·         5 - 8 years of proven relevant working experience

·         Strong understanding of retail operations and industry best practises

·         Strong Excel and data analytics skills; Prior work with Tableau / Power BI / SQL preferred

·         Strong systematic planning and follow up skills

·         Excellent analytical and organisational skills

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills
