Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.
Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored in creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Build & scale up social events in Mandai – Wedding and Birthday products to build strong brand awareness and increase sales revenue target
· Increase local clients contacts by canvassing for sales through cold calls and regular follow-ups
· Establish new and enhance existing relationship between companies, business associates and government agencies to develop the brand thus creating new business opportunities
· Function as the social events specialist to analyse, strategise and curate plans, that includes distribution channels and timeline.
· Prepare sales collaterals / quotation / presentation and negotiate contract terms with vendors and suppliers to close business deals
· Deliver great experience for our partners, represent our brand and act as our partners’ internal liaison
· Coordinate. execute and deliver events physically complete with the required administrative works relevant to events
· Update sales database and leads tracking list regularly and accurately
· Ensure consistency and sustainability of the work processes from the order processing to billing processes
· Ensure all communications with customers are handled within the required time frame and according to company’s guidelines and policies
· Assist and support ad-hoc special projects / other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management / Events / Business Administration or Management / Sales & Marketing or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years working experience in driving events sales and curating events in the Social and corporate segments preferably in wedding industry
· Possess a strong network of business contacts
· Sales-driven and result-oriented
· Excellent interpersonal skills with a high degree of personal energy
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Critical thinker with a strategic mind and problem-solving skills for
risk/roadblock identification and proactive suggestions and recommendations
· Pro-active team player with a positive attitude and determination to succeed
· Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays for events |
