Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

 

Mandai Wildlife Group advocates for biodiversity, contributes leading wildlife research, develops innovative solutions to promote living sustainably, and collaborates with conservation partners in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

 

The Group provides funding and in-kind support to Mandai Nature for conservation work across Southeast Asia.

 

Mandai Global, an entity that is part of the Group, will establish and operate new lines of business anchored on creating positive outcomes for nature and wildlife.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

·       Carry out industry and value chain analysis, long range planning to support top management in its strategic decision making

·       Monitors business climate, trends in technology and development, and government activity in areas of the company’s current and anticipated business portfolios

·       Participate directly in the Group’s organic and inorganic growth projects

·       Perform business feasibility studies and be required to take up coordination and execution responsibilities

·       Support top management on strategic mapping exercises and to facilitate discussions for top management on key business matters

·       Collaborates with other business unit line managers to define and refine business strategies with a specific focus on designing and implementing new strategic approaches, ideas, and processes that will grow the business and avail measurable results

·       Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

·       Degree in Business Admin, Finance or Economics

·       Minimally 5 years working experience in corporate-level strategy planning and/or development positions, preferably in a fast paced and dynamic business environment.

·       Relevant experience in the hospitality and tourism sector would be an added plus point

·       Highly analytical & strong critical thinking skills

·       Strong financial analysis and financial modelling skills

·       Strong interpersonal skills with ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects

·       Proficiency in the use of Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint

·       Good communication skills in all presentation, written and verbal capacities
