Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
The Senior Manager of Indoor Attractions Analytics is responsible for overseeing the analytics and insights related to indoor attractions. The role is also responsible for driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing profitability, and improving the guest experience within indoor attractions. They lead analytics initiatives, manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and provide insights to stakeholders.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Operations Planning and Financial Monitoring
- Report and analyze key performance metrics of the business, including attendance and financial KPIs
- Utilize data visualization tools to present data in a clear and concise manner for easy interpretation.
- Track and analyze attractions performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for IA operations, including expenses related to staffing, maintenance, supplies, and equipment.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to assess the financial health of IA operations, identify revenue opportunities and cost savings.
- Manage the budgeting process encompassing Attendance, Revenue, OPEX, CAPEX and headcount
- Evaluate Programming spending, profitability, guest satisfaction and provide recommendations for future project
- Process, compile, and conduct research analysis on both qualitative and quantitative data
2. Guest Feedback and Consumer Insights
- Work closely with Group Insights team to implement surveys and consumer insights related to IA experiences
- Provide actionable insights to drive improvements in IA offerings and operations
3. Projects and Operational Support
- Drive and coordinate projects for IA improvements, working with internal and external stakeholders to identify and implement enhancements
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and processes to ensure successful execution
Job Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in business planning and analytics. Preferably in the entertainment, tourism or hospitality industry
- Proven experience in management of budget, forecast and analyzing operational and financial data to drive insights and improvements
- Proficient in data analysis and visualisation tolls such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI or similar software
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and methodologies
- Familiarity with market research techniques and competitive analysis to identify commercial opportunities
